New platform release expands capabilities to support mobile delivery and live interactive broadcasting

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a leading global provider of communications solutions and services, announced today the launch of version 2.0 of its Tempo Enterprise Media Platform, an enterprise-class for delivering interactive live and on-demand streaming media to desktops, mobile devices, and televisions.
A key advance in this release is expanded delivery to mobile devices - including Apple iPhones/iPads and Google Android. Tempo 2.0 also improves support for live interactive broadcasting for corporate communications and training applications, such as interactive distance learning and shareholder communications.
Tempo is available as both a cloud-based Platform as a Service and an on-premise managed service.
