Globecomm Field Services - Globecomm is always looking for the highest quality Certified Installers. We are a leading company in the satellite infrastructure and network services market and rely heavily on contract relationships to fulfill field services across the country and around the world. The Globecomm Certified Installer Program is becoming an important asset to our operation and, more importantly, our customers. Our goal is to become a leader in the Satellite Field Services business and to be able to service any call, any time, with the right person, anywhere in the world.

VOIP Network Engineer

Monitor voice services, creating customer reports, generating Dial-Plan updates on Cisco VOIP Gateways, and commissioning/configuring Cisco SIP and H.323 VoIP Gateways. Must have CCNP or CCVP; four years of hands-on experienced configuring Cisco LAN switches/routers; and two years with the other Cisco technologies just mentioned, especially gateways, gatekeepers and proxy servers.

RF Engineer

Support the design, implementation and operations of Mobile GSM and CDMA Networks. Must understand all elements (BTS,BSC, Node-B, RAN, VLR,HLR, MGW etc) of a cellular network ( GSM, CDMA, UMTS etc). Must have 2 years of proven working experience with Operational & Maintenance Center – Radio (OMC-R). Must know TCP/IP protocols, programming languages like Unix, c++. Knowledge of Mobile Soft switch and RF Propagation would be a plus.

Systems Engineer

Responsible for system design, project management and organization, documentation while meeting deadlines. BSEE, Satcom & RF experience, computer networking skills, Microsoft Office, and VISIO drawings are required.

Broadcast Engineer

Handle and respond to client request for proposals with system design, technical description, pricing, and specifications in a fast paced environment meeting deadlines. Specify, select and/or approve equipment based on client needs and/or requirements. BS in Engineering or equivalent. Experience with video/audio encoding and multiplexing equipment; understanding of video and audio compression technologies; and experience with Visio and/or AutoCAD.
